Continuous investment in the best equipment and software means what took days back then now takes only hours: we have evolved and refined our processes to achieve this and now typically without having to touch the vehicle.
Just as you wouldn’t expect a carpenter to arrive with only a set of chisels, effective 3D scanning requires a range of 3D scanners, specialist software, plugins, macros, and extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes across different eras.
Forte Vision designs have respect for traditional skills and manufacturing methods. CAD designs do not have to look like they, to coin a phrase, ‘dropped off the planet CAD’ yesterday. The Forte Vision 3D car scans way leads to a creation that reflects how something was originally created.

Work has equally been undertaken at short notice both in the UK and abroad, for example in the USA, Europe (pre and post-Brexit) and South Africa. All our equipment is portable, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in every project.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP)
Navigating the complexities of data management, we invented the term “Special Category 3D Data (SC3D)” with the objective of avoiding involvement in IP disputes. Essentially, we do not hold IP protected data on our system. Each case is considered on its merits, and we welcome all proposals for 3D laser scanning car projects.
